Hornsea wind farm
Hornsea Project Four is a wind farm which Ørsted are proposing to develop approximately 65km off the Yorkshire Coast.
The Project requires cables to be laid over the mainland from Beverley to Barmston, with the creation a new Generating Station near Beverley. As a result, land, home and business owners whose land the cabling will pass through, and those in the vicinity of the new Generating Station, will be affected. If you will be affected, our experts can help.
The Project is still in the pre-application phase of the Development Consent Process and is currently undertaking a consultation on the latest proposed route. Once a preferred route for the cabling is selected it is likely Ørsted will apply to the Planning Inspectorate as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project, which could lead to land and rights being compulsorily acquired for the scheme.
