31 October 2013, National property consultancy Carter Jonas is expanding its Energy and Marine team with the recruitment of two energy specialists in Edinburgh.

Chris Keenan and Sarah Whyte have both joined the firm as energy specialists and will be supporting its national team of renewable energy experts, who are actively involved with advising on a range of projects, varying from farm-scale technologies to the largest utility scale projects for landowners, developers and investors across the country.

Chris Keenan has joined Carter Jonas from German Wind Farm developer PNE Wind, where he was head of estates with responsibility for all land acquisition across the UK.   Prior to that he worked in the land agency and development land sector at Knight Frank and CKD Galbraith

Sarah Whyte was formerly a consultant engineer and project manager at WSP Future Energy (WSP E&E UK) where she was involved in a number of wind energy-related proposals and feasibility studies, for which she undertook site screening, GIS mapping and environmental and technical constraints assessments. She will continue to develop this role at Carter Jonas.
