15 October 2013, National property consultancy Carter Jonas celebrated the launch of its residential department in Wells, Somerset, with an informal party where more than 60 guests had chance to meet the newly formed team led by 33-year-old Patrick Brady, who has moved from the firm’s Bath office to head residential sales.
Mr Brady, who lives near Bruton with his young family, has spent ten years selling country houses in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. He says the strength of the property market in Somerset prompted Carter Jonas to re-establish a stronger residential presence in Wells and he was delighted with the turnout at the party.
Carter Jonas representatives included the company’s divisional residential head Richard Hatch who is based in Cambridge, area head Rory O’Neill, and Jasper Fielding from the firm's London country team in Mayfair. They said they were equally impressed with the response from Carter Jonas’ professional associates and clients who attended the launch at the Vicars’ Hall, Wells Cathedral.
Mr Brady is joined in the residential department by Cathy Morris-Adams and Lyn Jeffries who are experienced in the property sector in Wells and surrounding area, together with a 10-strong team of property consultants who will provide unrivalled local knowledge to buyers and viewers as they are living within the communities around the region.
The Wells office now offers the broadest range of property services including its long established and successful rural division headed by partner James Stephen.
Mr Stephen welcomed guests and Carter Jonas colleagues and said how delighted he was to see so many people at the launch. He introduced Patrick Brady and other members of the new residential team and said the department would strengthen the company's presence in the city, complementing the long established rural division.
