A local engineering company behind the development of Mercury Court in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire has taken up residence in the building it played a key role in transforming.
MP Consulting Engineers has relocated to Mercury Court following its work with Harrogate-based Fulwith Developments on the six self-contained office units. The remaining two-storey units are available to rent or buy through Carter Jonas on a virtual freehold basis of 1,000 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft.
Richard Murray of MP Consulting Engineers said: “For us Mercury Court presents an ideal opportunity to occupy high quality offices with easy access to the motorway network. We have been involved in the development from the outset and can appreciate the complex’s prominent location near the motorway network.”
Carter Jonas' Commercial Team in Leeds are marketing the Mercury Court office development, which includes adjacent car parking and a prominent frontage to Manse Lane.
John Webster, a partner at Carter Jonas, said: “There is strong interest in the scheme, mainly from prospective purchasers interested in the opportunity to acquire small, self-contained suites. With the complex’s proximity to the popular St James Retail Park and great access to the A1, we expect there to be a lot more interest in the development and for the units to be either let or sold quickly.”
